POWER & UTILITY • RIGID & FLEXIBLE CONDUIT

Supplying the Teams
That Power America

OMNI manufactures conduit for utility distribution networks, substations, power generation facilities, transmission corridors, and renewable energy infrastructure.

HOW WE SUPPORT THE GRID

OMNI supplies utility contractors, EPC firms, and energy builders with the conduit and components they need for installations across the power and utility landscape.

Whether you’re building utility distribution feeds, utility-scale solar farms, substation pathways, or high-voltage transmission corridor upgrades, OMNI has the conduit your project needs at the volume and speed your construction schedule depends on.

WHY CHOOSE OMNI

FOR YOUR POWER & UTILITY NEEDS

Power and utility infrastructure projects run on tight construction timelines, federal funding deadlines, and contracted EPC schedules. Utility contractors, EPC firms, and energy builders choose OMNI for their conduit orders for three main reasons.

Volume Capacity

OMNI maintains production capacity to support multi-phase builds with consistent delivery windows, so your phase-two and phase-three orders ship on the same schedule as phase-one.

BABA Compliant

Every OMNI product is Build America, Buy America (BABA) compliant, qualifying them for use in IIJA-funded grid modernization, federal renewable energy programs, and other federally funded power and utility infrastructure.

Same-Day Order Confirmation

OMNI understands the need to keep your power and utility project on time and on budget. Our team can confirm availability and shipping windows the same day, so you can make purchasing decisions quickly and easily.

FEDERAL FUNDING & COMPLIANCE

The Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) is putting billions of federal dollars into grid modernization, transmission upgrades, and energy infrastructure. Build America, Buy America (BABA) compliance is the gating requirement for materials going into those projects.

Add federal renewable energy programs and grid resilience initiatives to the picture, and the demand for domestic, BABA-compliant conduit is rising fast across the power and utility sector.

At OMNI, every conduit and accessory is BABA compliant, so you can confidently source everything you need for your federally funded power and utility installation through a single point of contact.

WHAT OUR POWER & UTILITY CUSTOMERS SAY

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

The Power & Utility Sector

What types of conduit do utility contractors typically spec for distribution networks?

Utility contractors typically spec Schedule 40 PVC for standard trenched and concrete-encasement runs, Schedule 80 PVC for pathways with high-impact applications, and HDPE flexible conduit for directional drilling and trenchless installs. The right combination depends on terrain, voltage class, and installation conditions.

Yes. Every OMNI conduit and accessory product is Build America, Buy America (BABA) compliant, qualifying for use in IIJA-funded grid modernization, transmission upgrades, federal renewable energy programs, and other federally funded power and utility infrastructure.

Yes. Our PVC conduit and HDPE flexible conduit can be used for utility-scale solar installations, wind farm interconnections, and broader renewable energy infrastructure across the United States. Solar contractors typically spec PVC for trenched runs between equipment and along inverter pads and use HDPE for trenchless tie-ins to substations.

High-voltage transmission corridors typically use HDPE flexible conduit for directional drilling and trenchless installs across long runs and complex terrain, with PVC conduit for substation connections at each end. Our continuous-reel HDPE reduces splices on multi-mile transmission runs, a common spec for federal grid modernization projects.

Yes. We regularly supply multi-phase utility and energy projects with consistent delivery windows across construction phases. Our Louisiana plant maintains production capacity to ship phase-two and phase-three orders on the same schedule as phase-one orders, with no order splits or timeline surprises. Contact our team to discuss multi-phase project scheduling.

Yes. We work with EPC firms, utility contractors, and energy builders directly, as well as through utility distribution channels and our nationwide manufacturer's rep network. Contact our sales team to set up an account or to discuss project-specific procurement for upcoming power and utility work.

Schedule 40 PVC conduit is the standard for typical underground distribution runs, residential and commercial utility feeds, and concealed pathways. Schedule 80 PVC has a thicker wall, which is spec'd for substation pathways, exposed installations, and applications subject to physical impact or environmental stress. We manufacture both types of PVC, and our team can help recommend the right one for your project.

Standard PVC conduit and HDPE flexible conduit are typically in stock and ready to ship. For large-volume orders or specialty configurations on multi-phase power and utility builds, lead times depend on order size and current production load. Call our team for a same-day confirmation on availability and shipping windows.
