PVC CONDUIT • SCHEDULE 40 & SCHEDULE 80

PVC Conduit That Works as Hard as You Do

OMNI PVC conduit is rigid and cost-effective, making it the most common spec across telecom, utility, and infrastructure electrical installations.

THE STANDARD FOR

CABLE PROTECTION

PVC conduit is a rigid, non-metallic conduit made from polyvinyl chloride and used to protect electrical wiring, fiber-optic cable, and communications lines in direct burial and concrete-encasement installations. The two standard schedules (Schedule 40 and Schedule 80) cover the full range of applications, from typical telecom and utility runs to high-impact installations exposed to physical stress.

OMNI manufactures PVC conduit in both schedules and a full range of trade sizes, with color options for different markets.

Same-Day Order Confirmation

When a project schedule shifts or a contractor needs a fast quote, OMNI has your back. Our team can provide same-day order confirmation and shipping windows, so your project keeps moving while competitors are still waiting on a callback.

Choosing Between HDPE and PVC Conduit

PVC conduit and HDPE conduit are the two most common electrical conduit types in underground infrastructure, but they're engineered for different installation conditions. PVC conduit is rigid and best for trenched and concrete-encasement runs. HDPE conduit is flexible and preferred for directional drilling and complex terrain.

WHAT CONTRACTORS SAY

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

PVC Conduit

What is PVC conduit used for?

PVC conduit is used to protect electrical wiring, fiber-optic cable, and communications lines in direct burial and concrete-encasement installations. The most common applications are telecom and fiber underground runs, utility distribution networks, and commercial construction projects. We manufacture PVC conduit for all three.

Schedule 40 PVC conduit has a thinner wall and is the standard for typical underground and concealed runs in telecom, utility, and commercial applications. Schedule 80 PVC conduit has a thicker wall, making it more impact-resistant and spec'd for exposed installations, high-traffic areas, and applications subject to physical stress or environmental impact.

PVC conduit is rigid, cost-effective, and best for direct burial and concrete-encasement installations where conduit doesn't need to bend. HDPE conduit is flexible and more impact-resistant, preferred for directional drilling, trenchless installations, and applications where conduit needs to flex with the terrain. We manufacture both products, and our team can help recommend the right one for your project.

Yes. Every OMNI product is fully Build America, Buy America (BABA) compliant, qualifying them for use in federally funded infrastructure projects, including projects funded through IIJA and the BEAD Program.

We manufacture PVC conduit in standard trade sizes across both Schedule 40 and Schedule 80. Sizes typically range from 1/2 inch to 6 inches. For specific size availability and stock status on large-volume orders, contact our team directly.

Our PVC conduit is available in standard color configurations for different markets. For specific color requirements or non-standard configurations, contact our team to confirm availability.

Yes. We regularly fulfill large-volume orders for contractors and distributors on time-sensitive projects. Our Louisiana plant maintains production capacity for large-volume runs and confirms shipping windows the same day. For urgent requirements, call us directly.

PVC conduit is installed through direct burial and concrete-encasement depending on schedule and application. PVC conduit is non-flexible and requires couplings and elbows for directional changes. For project-specific installation guidance, our technical team is one phone call away.
